Frequently Asked Questions
Do these courses count toward CPD or licence renewal?
Our courses are written to align with the ethical and professional standards that provincial chiropractic regulators expect, and most regulators accept relevant ethics and professionalism learning toward continuing professional development. Because requirements differ by province and territory, you should record completion in line with your own regulatory College’s CPD framework.
Are the courses self-paced and fully online?
Yes. Every course is 100% online and self-paced. You can start, pause and complete each one at your own convenience on any device.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes. On successful completion you receive a downloadable certificate that you can keep for your records or submit alongside a reflective response or CPD log.
Who writes these courses?
All courses are written by experienced healthcare professionals with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare law and ethics, led by founder Dr Shehzad Iqbal.
Are these courses accredited or endorsed by provincial chiropractic regulators?
No. The courses are not independently accredited or endorsed by provincial chiropractic regulators or any provincial or territorial body. They are high-quality independent CPD designed to support your learning and to help you evidence insight and remediation; you remain responsible for recording them under your regulatory College’s framework.
How current is the course content?
Courses are reviewed and updated to reflect current ethical standards and professional expectations for chiropractors in Canada.
What is the difference between the ethics and the professionalism courses?
The ethics courses focus on principles and decision-making — autonomy, confidentiality, consent and managing dilemmas. The professionalism courses focus on conduct and behaviour — communication, teamwork, documentation and maintaining public trust. Many registrants find the two complement each other.
Can I use these courses for remediation or an education requirement?
Yes. The courses are frequently used to support remediation, undertakings or required education. Whether a specific course satisfies a particular requirement is for your regulatory College to confirm, so check any conditions placed on your registration.
How long does each course take to complete?
Most courses take a couple of hours of focused study, and because they are self-paced you can spread that across as many sessions as you need. Each carries 2 CPD credits.
Do you offer access for multiple staff or a whole practice?
Yes. Practices, clinics and groups enrolling several staff can arrange discounted multi-course access. Get in touch through the website to discuss bulk enrolment.
Are the courses suitable for chiropractors who are not under investigation?
Absolutely. While the courses are valuable for those responding to a complaint, they are equally suited to routine CPD and strengthening everyday ethical practice.
How do I get started?
Use the investigation-type selector on this page to match courses to your situation, or browse the full catalogue and add the courses you need to your cart. Everything is online and available immediately after purchase.
I’ve received a complaint from my regulatory College — where do I start?
Take it seriously and respond within any stated deadline. Your regulatory College weighs cooperation, insight and concrete remediation. Begin with the Dealing with a Complaint or Investigation course, then add the courses most relevant to the concern raised, and document your reflections.
Which courses should I take if I’m under investigation?
It depends on the allegation. Use the investigation-type selector — Ethics & Conduct, Professionalism, Probity & Honesty, Fitness to Practise or Professional Boundaries — to see the courses mapped to each concern, and pair them with the insight and reflection modules.
How do these courses help me demonstrate insight and remediation?
Documented completion of relevant training is one of the clearest ways to show that you have reflected, understood what went wrong and changed your practice. The insight, remediation and reflection modules are written specifically to help you evidence this.
Do the courses cover confidentiality and privacy under Canadian law?
Yes. The Confidentiality and Privacy, Consent and Chaperone courses reflect the obligations created by Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA at the federal level and provincial health-information laws such as PHIPA in Ontario.
I’m facing a professional boundaries allegation — is there a relevant course?
Yes. Boundary concerns are a leading cause of disciplinary action. The Professional Boundaries Course and the Ethical Boundaries module cover recognising and managing boundary risks with patients and colleagues.
Do the courses reflect Canadian codes of ethics and professional standards for chiropractors?
Yes. The content is mapped to the ethical expectations and professional responsibility themes that provincial chiropractic regulators expect for CPD, drawing on the recognised codes of ethics and standards of practice for chiropractors in Canada.
