Professionalism for Healthcare Professionals

Course Description

This CPD-certified course provides healthcare professionals in Qatar with a comprehensive understanding of professionalism, its ethical foundations, and its significance in maintaining patient safety and public trust. The course explores how professionalism integrates competence, communication, accountability, integrity, and empathy in daily practice.

Aligned with the standards of the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) and the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), this course is designed for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and allied health professionals across all settings. It addresses key professional behaviours expected within Qatar’s healthcare system, including respect, teamwork, documentation, boundaries, and reflective practice.

It is particularly relevant for healthcare practitioners undergoing professional development, remediation, or fitness-to-practise review, helping them rebuild insight, demonstrate accountability, and sustain high professional standards in line with QCHP and MOPH expectations.
