Professionalism for Healthcare Professionals

Course Description

This CPD-accredited course explores the meaning, attributes, and practical application of professionalism in healthcare within the context of Bahrain’s regulatory, ethical, and cultural environment.

It is designed for all healthcare professionals — including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and allied health practitioners — as well as those undergoing remediation, investigation, or fitness to practise review with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) or employer institutions.

The course focuses on the values and behaviours that define a trusted healthcare professional: integrity, accountability, respect, compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Participants will learn to apply professionalism in daily practice, rebuild confidence after ethical or professional challenges, and align their conduct with NHRA and Supreme Council of Health standards.
