Probity and Honesty for Healthcare Professionals

Course Description

This CPD-accredited course explores the essential professional values of probity and honesty in healthcare — the foundation of ethical conduct, patient trust, and public confidence.

It is designed for all healthcare professionals in Bahrain — including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and allied health practitioners — as well as those undergoing investigation, remediation, or fitness to practise review with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA).

The course examines how honesty, integrity, and transparency shape every aspect of clinical and professional life. Participants will learn how to apply probity in documentation, communication, prescribing, financial conduct, and professional relationships, in line with NHRA’s Code of Ethics and the Supreme Council of Health’s standards of professional behaviour.
