Two firm rules: meet the deadline &mdash; the 60-day response rule is enforced &mdash; and do not contact or retaliate against the complainant.<\/p>\r\n    <h2>Stage 3: Dental coordinator and prosecutions review<\/h2>\r\n    <p>Illinois builds professional expertise into the review. For dental matters, the completed investigation is first sent to a <strong>dental coordinator<\/strong> &mdash; a licensed dentist who serves as an in-house expert &mdash; rather than straight to prosecutions. From there the file moves to the health prosecutions unit, where a unit chief can return it for more investigation, close it, or assign it to a prosecuting attorney.
