Course Description
Professionalism and Professional Standards for Nurses and Midwives (Ireland) is a CPD course designed to help nurses and midwives understand, apply, and demonstrate professionalism in everyday practice and in regulatory contexts.
Professionalism goes beyond technical competence — it is about honesty, accountability, respect, and integrity in all interactions. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics emphasises that professionalism is a condition of registration, central to patient trust, and essential for safe practice.
