Professionalism and Professional Standards for Nurses and Midwives
Course Description
This comprehensive CPD-accredited course is designed for nurses and midwives in Bahrain, including those currently practising and those facing an NHRA complaint, investigation, or fitness to practise process.
Professionalism is the cornerstone of safe, ethical, and compassionate nursing and midwifery practice. This course explains what professionalism means in the Bahraini healthcare context, explores the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) expectations for professional conduct, and guides participants in demonstrating accountability, probity, and ethical integrity.
Through case studies, reflective learning, and real-world examples, nurses and midwives will gain a deeper understanding of how professional behaviour shapes trust, communication, and patient outcomes. The course also supports individuals in developing insight, reflection, and remediation plans to demonstrate readiness for continued or restored professional practice.
